The radiation probe, model RPSG-05, developed and manufactured by MicroStep-MIS, measures gamma radiation dose rate.

RPSG-05 probe contains two Geiger–Müller (GM) tubes covering measurement of dose rates from 10 nSv/h up to 10 Sv/h. This wide measuring range enables indications of minor changes in the ambient natural radioactivity level as well as measuring of extremely high rate.
The device contains microprocessor, data memory, calibration memory and doubled serial output (RS-232, RS-485). Version with programmable relay output (for switching external alarm when radiation increases above defined level) is optional. The water and dust proof housing, low power consumption and supported interfaces allow to use the probe as a standalone, or portable device.
